| ABSTRACT | India's linguistic diversity presents significant challenges for digital language learning platforms, as many existing tools primarily support global languages while regional Indian languages receive limited attention. This paper presents Vaani, a gamified mobile language learning application developed using the Flutter framework and Firebase backend services. The application integrates gamification elements such as experience points (XP), streak tracking, flashcards, quizzes, and interactive lessons to enhance learner engagement. A modern and structured user interface improves usability and encourages consistent learning behavior . Educational video content is embedded using YouTube to provide multimedia support for lessons while maintaining copyright compliance. Firebase Authentication ensures secure user login, and Firestore is used to store user progress and performance data The system demonstrates how modern mobile technologies can be used to create scalable, engaging, and user-centric learning platforms for regional Indian languages. |
