TITLE To Study the Impact of Online Gaming on UG Student’s Academic Performance with Respect to Pune City
ABSTRACT The rapid growth of technology and internet accessibility has made online gaming a common activity among undergraduate (UG) students. While gaming can enhance skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, and reflexes, excessive engagement may negatively influence academic performance. This research explores the relationship between online gaming habits and the academic performance of UG students in Pune city. A structured questionnaire was distributed among students to gather data on gaming frequency, duration, and its perceived impact on learning. The findings indicate both positive and negative effects, depending on the time spent and the nature of games played. The study concludes by suggesting healthy gaming practices and highlighting the need for awareness regarding responsible gaming.
