TITLE The Internet of Things (IoT) and Its Impact on Software Development for Agricultural Applications
ABSTRACT The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into healthcare has revolutionized patient care, enabling real-time monitoring, personalized treatment, and improved operational efficiency. This paper presents a comprehensive methodological review of 25 scholarly articles to elucidate the impact of IoT on software development for healthcare applications. The study explores the evolution of development methodologies, addresses security and interoperability concerns, and identifies emerging trends in IoT-centric healthcare software engineering. Findings reveal a shift towards agile and model-driven approaches, heightened emphasis on security protocols, and the necessity for scalable architectures. The paper concludes by outlining future research directions to further integrate IoT considerations into healthcare software development practices.
