TITLE The Integration of Generative AI and Workforce Data Systems: Strategic Opportunities and Ethical Guardrails
ABSTRACT Generative AI is rapidly moving beyond its early applications in software development to reshape core business functions such as human resources, employee onboarding, recruitment, employee servicing and more. This article explores how organizations are integrating generative AI into workforce data systems, presenting an architectural view of adoption and the implications for enterprise-scale deployment. These technologies offer significant opportunities to enhance efficiency, personalization, and decision-making. It is also important to acknowledge that they introduce challenges including hallucinations, data privacy risks, and security vulnerabilities. The article highlights critical guardrails and best practices that enable organizations to adopt generative AI responsibly, balancing innovation with governance.
