| ABSTRACT | Agriculture remains a critical sector for economic stability, yet many farmers struggle to access real-time agricultural information, expert guidance, and weather-based decisions. Existing farming applications require digital literacy, which many rural farmers lack. This project proposes a Smart Voice-Activated Farming Assistant using Natural Language Processing (NLP) that enables farmers to obtain agricultural support through speech in local languages. The system integrates speech-to-text, NLP-based intent recognition, domain-specific agricultural knowledge, and text-to-speech generation. It provides personalized recommendations related to crop selection, soil suitability, fertilizer usage, pest control, and weather forecasting. By converting complex agricultural datasets into simple voice-based interaction, the assistant enhances accessibility, productivity, and decision-making for rural farmers. |
