TITLE Smart E-Waste Management
ABSTRACT Electronic waste (e-waste) is rising sharply worldwide due to rapid technological obsolescence and consumer demand, posing serious environmental and health risks. Conventional recycling practices remain insufficient in scale, transparency, and material recovery. This paper proposes a smart, sustainable framework for e-waste management centered on emerging technologies, policy integration, and stakeholder participation. It surveys the latest innovations in automated sorting, circular economy models, traceability, and regulatory reforms. The proposed conceptual model emphasizes transparency, accountability, and optimal resource recovery, aiming to strengthen the formal e-waste ecosystem and reduce reliance on informal methods.
