TITLE Role of Internet to Build a Digitalized Economy
ABSTRACT The Internet has become the backbone of global connectivity and is a major driver of the digitalized economy. It has transformed traditional business operations into online systems that enable faster communication, secure transactions, and global participation. This research paper studies the role of the Internet in building a digitalized economy and its influence on financial growth, business development, innovation, and employment. The study is based on both primary and secondary data. The primary data were collected from a survey conducted among 100 respondents to understand their views on how the Internet contributes to digital economic growth. The findings reveal that most respondents believe the Internet has a positive impact on economic growth, improves business profits, and creates new employment opportunities. However, challenges such as lack of infrastructure, digital illiteracy, and cybersecurity issues still exist. The research concludes that improving digital access, digital skill training, and online safety measures will strengthen the Internet’s role in building a sustainable and inclusive digitalized economy.
