| TITLE | RescueConnect: A Comprehensive Community Crisis Response Platform |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | Natural disasters continue to increase in frequency and intensity, creating significant challenges for emergency coordination and community response. Traditional disaster management frameworks often fail due to delayed communication, inefficient coordination, and lack of real-time situational awareness. RescueConnect is a modern, AI-powered community crisis response platform designed to overcome these limitations. It integrates multimodal AI analysis, WebSocket-based real-time communication, and geospatial mapping to improve disaster reporting, verification, and volunteer mobilization. The system enhances accuracy, reduces response time, and supports scalable community-driven crisis operations. This paper presents the platform’s architecture, workflow, innovations, limitations, and future research potential. |
