| TITLE | Raspberry Pi 4 for Real-Time IoT Monitoring with Cloud Integration |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | The Internet of Things (IoT) enables smart, data-driven monitoring systems across various domains. This paper focuses on the implementation and learning of IoT concepts using the Raspberry Pi 4, a powerful single-board computer that serves as the core controller for real-time data acquisition and cloud communication. The Raspberry Pi 4 collects data from multiple sensors—such as temperature, humidity, heart rate, and vibration sensors—and transmits it securely to cloud platforms like AWS IoT Core and ThingSpeak using the MQTT protocol. This setup enables continuous monitoring for both healthcare and industrial appli- cations, allowing users to visualize live data and receive alerts in abnormal conditions. The project demonstrates how Raspberry Pi 4 provides an effective balance of processing power, connectivity, and flexibility for developing cost-efficient IoT solutions. The results validate its suitability for real-time monitoring systems that integrate hardware, software, and cloud services in a single, scalable platform. |
