TITLE Face Recognition System using Machine Learning
ABSTRACT Face recognition is a critical area in computer vision, enabling systems to identify and verify individuals using facial features. This study presents a machine learning-based approach using a custom dataset captured via camera. We implement preprocessing, feature extraction using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and classification with Support Vector Machines (SVM) and k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN). Experimental results demonstrate high accuracy and robustness under varying conditions. Future work may incorporate deep learning models and larger datasets to enhance real-time performance.
