TITLE Enterprise Security Audit System
ABSTRACT Enterprise security auditing is a key activity to sustain standards, identify vulnerabilities, and safeguard assets against cyber attacks. The conventional security auditing depends greatly on manual scanning, which takes time, is expensive, and error-prone. To overcome these shortcomings, this paper introduces an Enterprise Security Audit System (ESAS) that automates compliance validation, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement on enterprise IT infrastructure. The system combines several audit mechanisms, such as rule-based compliance checks, vulnerability scanning, and logging analysis, to offer real-time security guarantees. Our proof-of-concept illustrates the on-the-fly detection of well-known misconfigurations, increased compliance verification, and decreased operational overhead. This makes the system more translucent, decreases risks, and helps establish trust between enterprise systems [1][2].
