TITLE Enhancing Agricultural Productivity through Cloud Computing Technology
ABSTRACT Agriculture is a cornerstone of India’s economy, with nearly seventy percent of the population depending on it. However, traditional farming practices often result in low productivity and limited income. The integration of cloud computing offers new opportunities to modernize agriculture by enabling scalable, cost-efficient, and data-driven solutions. Cloud technologies facilitate centralized data storage, real-time monitoring, and collaborative decision-making through Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). This paper examines the role of cloud computing in improving farming efficiency, outlines its models and deployment frameworks, and presents practical applications that demonstrate enhanced productivity, sustainability, and market access for farmers.
