TITLE AI-Based Cybersecurity and Blockchain Integration for the Metaverse
ABSTRACT The evolution of the Metaverse has brought forward a new era of digital connectivity where virtual, augmented, and mixed realities merge to create a shared interactive space. This transformation has resulted in tremendous opportunities across education, healthcare, entertainment, and finance. However, it has also given rise to complex cybersecurity challenges that traditional systems are unable to handle due to their centralized and static nature. This research explores the combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain as a promising solution for securing the Metaverse. AI contributes predictive intelligence and anomaly detection, while Blockchain ensures data transparency, decentralization, and immutability. Together, they create a self-defending and adaptive security architecture known as AICyber-Chain. This paper surveys existing work, analyzes architectural designs, and evaluates hybrid frameworks that integrate AI-driven analytics with blockchain-based verification. The findings indicate that this combination provides superior resilience, traceability, and real-time protection. The study concludes with future research directions, emphasizing scalability, interoperability, and quantum-safe extensions for next-generation cybersecurity.
