| TITLE | A Review on AgriPreserve: Intelligent Cold Storage System and Supply Optimization Platform for Agricultural Produce |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | Agriculture continues to face major challenges in preserving the quality of perishable produce after harvest. Poor storage infrastructure and lack of automation often lead to significant food losses and lower profits for farmers. To address these issues, this paper introduces AgriPreserve, an IoT-based intelligent cold storage and supply optimization platform. The system uses temperature, humidity, and gas sensors to monitor environmental conditions in real time and maintain an optimal storage atmosphere. Data collected from sensors is transmitted to a cloud dashboard, where users can view live readings and receive alerts in case of abnormal variations. A decision-support module analyses storage patterns and provides recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing wastage. Experimental evaluation shows that the system maintains steady temperature and humidity levels, resulting in lower spoilage and reduced power consumption. AgriPreserve offers a practical, scalable, and low-cost solution for small and medium-scale farmers, promoting sustainable and technology-driven post-harvest management. |
