| ABSTRACT | More and more people want edge AI solutions that work well. That’s why we’re seeing more small, energy-saving platforms that can do machine learning inference right where they are. The Google Coral Development Board, which runs on the Edge TPU, lets you process AI quickly and directly on the de- vice, so you don’t have to rely as much on cloud resources. This paper takes a close look at the Coral Development Board, including how it’s built, what’s inside, its software, and how it can be used. We also look at how it compares to other boards, its good points, problems, and what it might be able to do in the future. |
